At Young Friends we encourage the children to be curious about, respect and acknowledge important days and events happening within our families and the wider community. If our families would like us to engage in any of these events, we ask them to let us know. We acknowledge some common festivals with stories, activities and chat in a low-key, non-consumerist way. We explore the original meaning. We have a calendar of events throughout the nature year we use to inform our curriculum, activities and conversations. This helps us to embed the Young Friends ethos.
