Nature workshop

Our nature workshop really is a jewel in our kindergarten crown.

Real tools to suit little hands

A covered outdoor space at the back of our woodland garden, it offers the children a place to explore their creativity through art and making things.

You won’t find any toy tools or plastic here, just real tools made to suit little hands, and real art equipment for real artists.

It’s a space designed to give your child the freedom to explore, create, imagine, problem-solve and innovate.

Sustainably sourced materials

Carefully supervised, the children make real things, using real, sustainably sourced materials (we always appreciate off-cuts and leftovers from projects at home).

Our children make all sorts of things (like bug hotels, which they often sell at our summer or winter events or to our families to raise money for a charity), and explore their own artistic talents. Along the way they not only develop their own motor skills and awareness, but learn about design, problem-solving and engineering – and build their confidence and a ‘can-do’ approach.

It’s just one of the ways we instil a positive attitude towards learning – when your child feels confident, trusted and free to explore, their engagement and motivation go off the scale!
