Well the Autumn rain has been pouring down this week but we certainly haven’t let that dampen our spirits – it’s been another wonderful week at Young Friends. Each group has donned their all in one wetsuits, wrapped up nice and warm and had a great time playing in the showers.
The Chimps and Howlers have been learning and practicing animal noises this week and are practically little experts now. They have had so much fun in their room with the tunnel, post office Role play, painting with block and have even found time to fit in a fantastic trip to the ZT fitness soft play area.
The Baboons have had amazing music and movement sessions all week where they used all sorts of different objects to use as drums and explore their sounds. They have also used the falling leaves to do leaf printing and have been busy cooking some delicious blueberry muffins.
The Gorillas have braved the weather and gone on bug hunts in the garden to see what all the different species they could find. They have also been playing in their brilliant doctors role play and played small group games identifying and matching numbers.
