Kindergarten Educator

We are looking for an amazing practitioner to join our team

Young Friends Kindergarten is a wonderful, forward-thinking nursery whose focus is on creating confident and sustainable citizens. We do this through an embedded, authentic ethos.

We have built our own curriculum around the three pillars of sustainability and are extremely excited to see how it deepens and develops. This is a great time to join our close-knit team of highly qualified reflective, inquisitive practitioners.

We believe in growing happy, fulfilled staff and love to celebrate individual skills and quirks!

Our team spend their days between our beautiful natural nursery setting in central Hove, or on trips out to the beach, parks and around the local community trips. Our older children also spend time during the growing season at our kitchen garden, a short distance away.

We have created a meaningful and magical place where children learn through playing and exploring at their own pace.

Our nursery is committed to a plastic free environment, we encourage children to recycle, reuse and respect our environment.

Our children go on regular beach cleans and learn about saving our planet for our future.

We have giant European rabbits and two gorgeous nursery Labradors.

Our nursery is well resourced with natural loose parts, furniture and play equipment that reflect our ethos.

We have created an open plan, child centred homely environment where children learn and develop holistically.
